"Film program speaks up on new travel policies"
This article is my favorite piece that I've written throughout high school because it highlights the passion and hard work of the students and their adviser. This story captures the genuine and raw emotions against the new travel policies as well as the students continuing to overcome challenges in order to have a successful year. This story was trending at #9 with over 160 views on our site.
*This piece won a national Best of SNO award*

Opinion
Through a variety of reviews, editorials, and sports analyses, I've shared my voice as well as the staff's opinion to our readers. During our editorial board meetings that usually occur on Friday mornings or during class, the editorial board and I meet to discuss what opinions we are voicing in our writing and how we will present it to our readers and students at Prosper High School.

A Gift money can't buy: The Value of moments
Although I wrote this column at the very beginning of my newspaper journey, looking back at it - it's one of the most meaningful pieces to me because reading back at what freshman year I was thinking about shows me how much I have grown and how much everything has changed around me from my daily routine to not being around the same people, and even dancing in the place I spent every day during the summer and every single weekday in the afternoons. It feels bittersweet to look back at it and compare my writing back then to how it evolved up to this point.
Review: Megan Moroney 'Stuns' fans with sophomore album
Album reviews are one of the most viewed stories in our newspaper. For example, this review has 118 views and was in our top 10 stories during the time when it was published. I've noticed that our readers enjoy content relating to new music, artists, and more. The newspaper and I also enjoy bonding and working together on these reviews for our readers. For this article, I worked alongside our sports editor to listen and review songs from an artist we both enjoy listening to, and someone our readers may be interested in as well.

Review: Best local places for hot chocolate
Publishing reviews on local coffee shops, or shops is another way we help bring in readers to our site. For this story I teamed up with one of my teammates to go around the city and find the best hot chocolate for the winter season. I enjoyed the unique experiences brought by each coffee shop, and the unique tastes each hot chocolate had to offer. In our story we also created a map overview of where these cafe's can be found, and our personal ratings with descriptions as well.

Dive into the second semester of2022 – 23 school year
At the beginning of each year, I always want to know what the semester is going to look like so I decided to make an overview for not me and our readers to have. I think it is good to see what each month is going to look like, what to expect, and what students should be preparing for as the school year goes on.

ENO STAFF editorials

At the top of our opinion page of our site, the editorial board made the executive decision to classify each type of opinion to make sure our readers understand our stance whether its the whole staff or of each individual. I find this being an important element to help our readers see where we stand on important topics and how its different to personal opinions (columns) of our each staff member.
Work Sample

For example, here is one of our recent editorials that directly impact our students on campus. One of our freshman reporters – Ethan Chatelain took the lead on this piece representing the editorial board and the whole staff. While working on this editorial, I worked alongside him and the editorial board to decide our stance on the matter. I made sure to guide Ethan along the way to make sure we were on the same page, and we would deliver a clear and direct opinion of the new travel guidelines. For each of our editorials, the editorial board members and I hold a vote on what our stance is on the matter. We do this for each of our editorials and make sure to include our editorial policy in every single one of our editorials published on our site.
